Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and Restaurant officially opens its newest location today in White House.

Located on Hester Drive, just off I-65 and Tenn. 76 at Exit 108, the restaurant/store's familiar front porch and brown wood exterior welcome weary interstate travelers and locals.

Company officials along with elected leaders from White House attended a Friday morning ribbon cutting.

Tom Carlee, general manager, welcomed the guests such as White House Alderman Randy Cline with a sneak-preview breakfast.

"Ever since I first came on the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, people have asked me when we would get a Cracker Barrel," Cline said

"The day has finally come and everyone really seems excited about it," he said.

The store features a historical theme with a 1950's Bill Monroe Bluegrass poster; 1950's Roy Acuff barn dance poster, 1800's Toolbox, drill press, and auger; 1890's horse drawn carriage advertisements and all the many historical and fun decorations that make Cracker Barrel a special place to eat and shop.

They also offer a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, plus a retail store with a wide selection of gifts, crafts and edible items at each location.

The White House Cracker Barrel is the 41st location in Tennessee and seats 194 customers.
