Just out of curiosity, how did ChemTeam begin? How many people
helped create your website? How long have you been around?
What are the backgrounds of those involved? Scientists? Teachers?

The official beginning of the web site is Aug. 1, 1996. I suppose the
ChemTeam began, in a sense, in 1982 when I bought an Apple II+. From that
time I've been intrigued by the possibilities for the computer in the classroom.
The actual planning and skill learning to produce the web site took place
more-or-less in 1995.
I am the main organizer and writer of the tutorials/problem sets. Obviously,
other people wrote the classic papers and took the pictures.
I've been around since October 21, 1952 at 8:18 AM. It was a Tuesday. I started
my teaching career on Feb. 2, 1975. Wow, 25 years!! Hard to believe!
Background - chemistry teacher. No professional scientist has been involved
in the ChemTeam.
